From the beginning of russia´s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was an acute social problem. Many old people were left without proper support and treatment. Our volunteer team took on that challenge, and we started taking care of people who were unable to take care of their own. 

600 beneficiaries are currently under our care.

About person

Pavlo has 6 bicycles at his country house and a lovely piece of land where he plants vegetables. But his country house is left in Staryi Saltiv which is under Russian shelling, so the man can only miss his hobbies.

In the city at home, Pavlo likes listening to music and playing the accordion, the guitar, and the drums. He always does morning exercises even when there are explosions heard outside. He says that the exercises don’t let him lose his heart. Now when it’s the season he dries linden leaves to make linden tea, that’s why it smells sweet in his apartments.

Pavlo is very happy that the growth of metastasis in his body has stopped, and he feels better than previously. But despite that, he spends a lot of money on medicine. Before the war, the man had to sell his apartment to pay for his treatment. Now he lives alone in a one-bedroom apartment. In winter, glass windows were broken by explosions, so he had to sleep in the corridor under the pile of blankets as the temperature was -17 C.

But Pavlo doesn’t complain at all. He hopes to see his friends and relatives again — some of them have moved to safer places, and some of them are under Russian occupation. He dreams of going back to his country house, planting vegetables, and having one more ride across Staryi Saltiv.

What we need money for

The food package includes: rice, pasta, peas, buckwheat, flour, canned meat and fish, canned corn and green peas, tea, cookies, noodles, cheese, butter, milk, pate and condensed milk. Additional medications.

We need a sum for a month: 3000 hryvnias.

We collect for 3 months ahead of time: 9000 hryvnias.
