About project Patronage
From the beginning of russia´s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there was an acute social problem. Many old people were left without proper support and treatment. Our volunteer team took on that challenge, and we started taking care of people who were unable to take care of their own.
600 beneficiaries are currently under our care.
About person
Liudmyla, with her husband, lived in the village of Slatyne before the war. It’s located on the frontline from the first day of the war, so their house is destroyed.
Worries caused a stroke. Now, Liudmyla lives with her children in Kharkiv. But she can’t go outside because of her bad health and constant Russian shelling. The one thing that helps to distract and relax is knitting. A cap and a scarf are already ready. The woman plans to knit more before the winter.
We provide the woman with food, medicine, and hygiene products.
